Replica SBR Status?
What is the legal status of modern replicas of classic stocked pistols such as the Interarms American Eagle Carbine or the German replica Luger Jagdkarabiner DWM and similar items produced stateside?

Ed, I had a dim recollection of Interarms pistol carbines being exempted from SBR registration by name, doubtless owing to Sam Cummings' government connections. But what about replica carbines built on DWM pistol receivers?

Michael, very gray area. I would think that no one would ever question you on it, but it is a legitimate question.
Also, no "interarms" listedin the C&R reg, but they were always the importer anyway. The guy who has it listed on gunbroker, I think he is using the wrong inscription. I assume that Vlim's new book will explain all that? Haven't seen you posting much, everything hunky dorey? ed
