http://forum.lugerforum.com/picture....&pictureid=104 Ebay seller describes this as: ORIGINAL – NO COPY Luger P08 holster recovered on a German prisoner in Marseilles in August 1944 Excellent condition - small stripe on the front (see photo) German marking: CDG 41 - German eagle with german cross – WaA101 - P.08 Corresponds to: WaA101 = Heereswaffenamt – HwaA 101- CDG 41 = Auwaerter-u. Bubeck K.G., Koffer-u. Lederwarenfabrik, Stuttgart (cdg) 1941 ----------------------- Is is possible the marker had two stamps? I've the same holster with the original byf 41 luger, previous owner of many years. See my images - would welcome some comments if different fonts were used, the ebay one is in remarkable condition. my holster http://forum.lugerforum.com/picture....&pictureid=103 Last edited by ChannelIsles; 12-18-2008 at 03:44 PM. |

I have two cdg 41 WaA101 holsters and upon examination, one of them has one of the font styles and one has the other style as shown in your pictures. I would have to believe both are correct.
