Default byf 42 markings

Hi all.
New to the forum and these oldies.
Doing some research on this one before I spend anything.
sorry no pics to post but i did take notes on inspection.
byf 42 on top
serial 181
all parts match 81 serial so I did read this is Mauser correct ?
Right side has 2 eagles with 135 under, then another bird to the right.
http://www.lugerforum.com/lugermarkings/proof-4.html
This one looks similar to number 47. but the second mark matches the first exactly.
No rework done on this, original blue in Excellent quality, barrel looks great.
Brown walnut grips etc.
If anyone can give me any further info and or what this may be worth I would greatly appreciate it.

B

Breeze,
Looking at your 2nd picture it appears that the serial number is 182k. If this is the case, than the number 82 not 81 should be stamped on various locations on the gun. The k suffix puts it at the end of luger production in 1942 for the German military.

Thanks Tom.
That was a typo on my part with the serial.I was going from Memory till I received the pictures.
182 is correct and all internal parts have 82 as well.
