Do you know value of my Luger, DWM 1915, number: 935a?.
All matching numbers, also magazin, original finish and parts. I have offer from one guy (700 euro), but I will not sell. Thanks!

I would think here in the USA a price of $ 1400-1600 between collectors would be a decent price...retail dealers in the USA would be much higher...

Howard,
Why so high...given the gun does not have unit markings and/or a holster...???...finish seems 95% or so and one grip is dented and color does not match the other grip...???... |

pete, I was thinking your value was a bit high, and I don't see it being a 3k gun, but then I don't know imperial values as well.
Croluger, remember, prices in europe can be a lot different than prices in the USA. Ed

Pete, Simpson just put what is essentially the same gun up for sale today, a DWM 1918, price is $3,250.00, now if Simpson can, and will, sell it for over 3k, don't you feel that the gun in question, were it here in the US, would bring 3k ??....he said number match, so one light bruised grip will not detract that much, I think that you and Ed are under valuing this gun...

H -
I thought/think Nikola's gun is more in line with this 1915 offering from Simpsons LTD...with its asking price of $ 1,995.00 USD. http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...oducts_id=1697 Nikola's gun has thin bluing along its barrel and there appears to be a dent on the "island" of the trigger side plate. It also has a dent/chunk along its back, on the back side of the frame "ear" as seen from the right-side photo...and a small chip of the left wooden grip under the thumb safety...(Yes...call me nit-picky...). Assume pricing at Simpsons is 20% high for their retail trade...I see that gun at $ 1500-1600... BTW...I do not doubt someone will pay $ 3K for that 1918 that is offered at the Simpson shop... ![]() http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...oducts_id=4116 |

Nikola,
This nice 1915 has been for sale in Germany for over 1 year with an asking price of 1600 Euros and has not yet sold...so that may indicate that seller's asking price is too high on that gun. I think this gun is close to the condition of your gun... http://www.collector-arms.de/produkt_images/11000.JPG Here is the link to the web site so you can see pricing in DE...the 1915 is down this page about 1/2 of the way : http://www.collector-arms.de/index.php?content=kurz |

Pete..nit-picky is good, but looking at Simpson's pricing, and not all thing are equal in this comparison, it does seem that an original matching mag is adding near 1k to their asking price....my screen is dark and I did not see the missing chip, however it is such a common item as to not be much of a distraction anymore....
