Hello Gents,
The use of LP08 by Turkey during WWI seems limited to officers and dignitaries. There is not evidence that the LP08 has been used by the crew. In any case a few supports concerning the use of the LP08 by officers and dignitaries are available (pictures, holstersâ?¦). A Turkish friend of mine, which knows my application on the LP08 history, just sent to me an interesting document about Ever Pasha and his LP08. Hereafter you have the picture reworked to remove the Turkish text around it. Who is interested in knowing better the history of Ever Pasha can have a look at my web site where it is possible to find a short description of the Ever Pashaâ??s live as well as some more information about the use of the LP08 in Turkish during WWI: www.lugerlp08.com Have fun. Cheers, Mauro ![]()
