While shooting my Stoeger stainless this afternoon, I continued to lament the tapered blade front sight, compared to the square blades on most of my other pistols. Are there other sights available???

Probably not in stainless steel...
You have two options... you can use the front sight blade from a P.38 that is flat topped like you are used to seeing... and you can square up the rear notch to match... Or you can get yourself a piece of stainless steel and some files and whittle away anything that doesn't look like a front sight blade... ![]() I guess you could have a good machinest or a first class gunsmith make you one would be a third option. If you need the dimensions of the standard front sight profile... you can buy one of my Luger Blueprint CD's... see the for sale forum for details....
