Mauser Military Parabellums-American Handgunner
Just got in 9 issues in very very good condition,of the first AMERICAN HANDGUNNER magazine. Issue one has 3 good articles on the P.38. One of the other issues has an article by Berny Lafferty (I believe he is deceased) on collecting the Mauser Lugers. It is a very good overall primer on them! I was lucky to find these on Ebay! Anybody see any of these really great magazine articles. They all have great pictures and illustrations! Thor

Ted, Happy to learn of your find. I still refer to Bernie's fine article whenever someone ask me which Mauser frames have the "hump back" and which don't. You might want to write that up as a question for the next quiz. I learned a lot from him, before he and his family died in a plane crash on the way to a gun show.

I believe it is legal if copies are not sold for profit. You can go to a library and they even furnish copy machines to make your own duplicates on the spot.
