Gents,I'd very much appreciate any input on the correct holster for a DWM 1906 Commercial in 9mm. What would the right color be? Would it be dated and/or maker marked? Would it have a rod pouch?
These guns were not sold with the holster, were they? And any other info you kindly want to provide. Thanks!! |

American Eagle commercial or German domestic commercial?
Randall Bessler usually has commercial holsters for European commercial Lugers. http://www.collectorfirearms.us/ ![]()

Alvaro, type in "doc Fisher's commercial 1906 holster" in the SEARCH section at the top of this holster listing and you'll come up with photos of my pristine commecial 1906 holster (January 2003). This is a great holster for a 7.65 German commercial DWM but still doesn't answer your question regarding ones for 9mm lugers. Also I do not know if the holsters were sold with the guns from the factory, but I doubt it. With officers having to purchase there own handguns, I'm sure customers bought their holsters seperately, perhaps from sporting dealers.

Hello John S. or john D.,
Is there a chance that one of you folks could pick up Doc's 1906 Commercial holster photos and place them in the Member's Gallery... This is too nice a holster for LF members to loose track of when the 3 month time limit for photos in regular discussion postings runs out... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Here is a pic of my Commercial holster. It came with a 1908, but I think it is also correct for the 1906 model.

ViggoG,
You have caught me packing for vacation, for we are to leave this afternoon. I shall be 'computered' again circa 7-24(?). Very quickly here are a couple pics of a couple of holsters that I have handy. The first holster is Biffar of Chicago, the second is maker unmarked.
