This unit marking is on a all matching 1921 DWM. I have researched and for the life of me can't find it. Any help would be appreciated. The marking is: S.M. 664
Thank You |

May I know the serial number with suffix and whether or not the gun has a sear and/or mag safety?

I thought that unit numbering more or less died off by the end of WW2, how common are pistols from the 20’s with unit marks?

I recently purchased my first Luger. It's a 1915 DWM. All matching numbers. Has unit markings on the front strap 4.A.R. I am finding some conflicting information between books I have read and the internet. I was hoping people here on the forum could help me out a little. With this being my first Luger I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks in advance.
