Hello,
Seen this "BYF42" for sale and the picture shows a pouch (below the Luger). What's with this pouch? Is it for handcuffs perhaps?? I would find it very interesting if anyone with knowledge on the history/use of these items could share their thoughts. For what I know, they may not have anything to do with the Luger but never know!! I'll also post a better picture of the Luger. It looks too pretty to have original finish. Collectible or shooter?? http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/lugbyf421.jpg |

It has been refinished, they stop strawing the trigger and other small parts in 1937. I haven't seen the pouch before.

It is a snuff pouch probably made from Hitlers mothers breast. Makes as much sense here as Armadillo hunting here!!!!!

To answer Roadkill...
I've been thinking about that...the seller listed the Luger with "OFFERS" as price. He sells mostly Glocks, S&Ws and Walthers and only gets the odd Lugers so I don't know what he will take for this one. He also has another one listed as a "1918" that is in pretty good shape!! Been trying to get a hold of him for a while now. |
