Boy, what is wrong with this picture (or photos)...?
Advertised as a 1900 Swiss but has a whole bunch of "new model" features...asking is $ 3750.00... The ad reads as...."Swiss model 1900 Bern 30 caliber $3750 Item# L8 see picture". http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/l8.htm |

Pete, Without knowing the serial number, this does appear to be a M1906 DWM, Swiss military contract accepted by Capt. Vogelsang. Tom h.

It is just mislabeled. It is a long-frame 1906. Standard for 1906 Cross in Sunburst Swiss military. Tom has it pegged correctly. Not a bad looking piece, but still priced high considering the amount of wear. On the other hand, it is probably an honest gun that hasn't been "upgraded".

Thanks, guys.
I did, too, think it was really a 1906... I sent them an e-mail letting them know they might have a "typo" on their web-site. Also asked them to let me know the serial number or partial; so I can see when it was made... I also think the price is high... |
