I just picked up my first luger. DWM 1925 in 30 Cal. excellent condition at a steal of a price. I cannot find 93 gr FMJ bullets. My Lyman 48th book has loads for the 93 gr. I can find 90 hollow points and 90gr lead cast. Does anyone have any loads to share. I will take full responsiblility for the loads. I use a Dillion 550 and load for 45 Auto and 9mm already. Or can I use the starting point of the 93gr for the 90's to see if they cycle good and I do have a Chrono to check, Thanks for any input! Also what is the fps difference in brass to lead???

I have always tried to find .32 full metal jacket and resized them to .30. Lead bullets work fine. I have had the best luck with them.

Do a Search here for "Blue Dot" and you'll turn up some of Hugh's pet loads (for quite a few powders; I had some Blue Dot so that's what I searched for)...
![]() Other loads will turn up, too, if you Search hard enough...

Try 7.5grns. AA#7. Accurate, reliable, and lethal.

....I'm gonna put together a 6in .30 top half...I have a 6in 9mm top on my shooter, actually won the iron sight Hunter pistol sihlouette match (30, 50, 75, 100 yds) at my club last month with it, but I'm sure a .30 would shoot flatter and probably more accurately....wondering if anyone has had any experience trying the 110gr M1 carbine bullet....id think you could run it about 1250 or so out of a 6in

Here are three successful loads in my P.08. I use NEI 85.308GC sized .311”. The bullet + gas check weighs 94 gr. Overall cartridge length is 30 mm. The data shows Powder/charge weight in gr/ average velocity in fps/std deviation in fps.
