Military 45acp Forums

Not that I am defecting in any way, but is there an equivalent forum for military 45 ACPs. I am interested in puchasing one and would like to become a little better versed. If any of you know some good reference books on the military versions on the 1911 and 1911 A1 please let me know.........thanks Again Jimmy
