Could I ask Did Frank Bucholtz post this months "Luger Masterepiece" or was It posted by another with his permission ?

I ask because there is a differeence between the "George Luger Masterpiece" Photo and the Full Screen "Popup" that appears when double the image is double clicked and double clicked again .

The large popup is definatly a post production alteration to a P-08 which has die cut threads to make it an Assassin.

This could not be the "George Luger Masterpiece" Described in the following Weapon History provided . This evidenced by the clean un-altered transition radius at the rear of the Barrel Tip and Sight Post .

How did this Happen ?

I noticed that! Looks like just an oversight to me. I'm sure the webmeister will correct that soon.

To me the popup looks like lasts moths assain pistol that is owned by John D.

By the way, a minor thing.

I don't belive the therad is die cut as its close to imporrible to do anything good with a die, in my opinion it's more likely cut in a lathe.

Default Re: :D "Sneaky"
Hello Again My Friend ;

Must point out that the threads end in a 30 degree angle with individual die tooth endings around the barrel end of the cut threads . Also the cap is torn from the thread for four threads "out" on the upper part of the barrel and cutting operation has removed the Blueing .

This was definitly an "After Production" machine operation We're looking at .

All of these are tipical only to die cutting and I have never seen them on lathe cut (chased) threads .

They are most likely the result of "Tailstock Turret Die" Cutting .

It requires a very close look to see these and they are not illusions .

Just my observations as I see them .

However we do agree that this must be John D's Assassin left over from last month .

Couldnt sneak that on over on us "Dok" , "We Gotcha" .
