Post Luger Production

I know companies and other small businesses have made Repo. Lugers. How come a major well known company, with the resources, not started up a repo. Luger on their production lines. Estimated 100,000 Luger enthusiast, I believe it would be wise to bring the Luger back to production.

There have been several attempts, and some examples are the Mauser production in the 70's, & Mitchel arms, (the stainless ones).

There are links to take a look at, guns in the Post WW2 area of the forum and pictures of the stainless ones in the member gallery.
