You were successful in the upload BOLTGUN, but I had to edit the URL to make it visible because you left out one character.

the best way to be successful in inserting a photo or graphic in your posts is to select and "copy" the URL that you are given by the upload page, and then "paste" the URL in between the [img] photoURLhere [/img] tags.

The easiest way to insert the URL is to use the "postreply" button and use the IMAGE button. This pops up a dialog box where you replace the "http://" that is defaulted there with the complete URL for the photo...

Go ahead and try again as many times as you like... Try a few more photos of your Mitchell.

Let me know when you are done experimenting with photo uploads and posts and I will just delete any error posts...

enjoy.

John,

Thanks for all of your help and the additional explanation regarding the "upload" feature. I have taken other pictures however, they exceed 200kb and the upload link indicates that this is the limit. Anyway, the picture is of the recently acquired Mitchell, new and unfired without the box for $350.

boltgun, heck of a deal, buy them all day at that price. On the size of your pics set your camera at its lowest quality setting, usually about 65-70 kb. For the purpose of posting to the forum the photos are great and fit well. The higher settings are only for making high quality prints on your printer or for sending to a processor, the lowest works fine and you will get a whole lot more of them out of your flash card.

For that price, buy it! I am a fan of the stainless guns so my answer is a bit biased. If this is as good as my two, you should be happy with it. Good luck!

boltgun,

If you are not a digital photo guru, no problem, email the photos to lugerforum@yahoo.com and I will trim to just under the 200k limit and post them so those appreciators of the Stainless Lugers (like Steve R. and me) can admire them too!

Thanks again John. I'll send you some more pictures of the "new" Mitchell, my DWM's and an Ermma in .380.
