I was never interested in golf so this is something I don't know anything about, but they are putting in another multi million $ course nearby and the players are raising hell cause they increased the fees at the city course, just curious, which is more expensive over the long term, guns or golf?

GOLF
When I was in Hawaii in 1983-86, it cost $100 a day to golf downtown, everyone wanted to golf on the military installation, because it was like $20 a day. Besides, I know which ones I like to be around

IMHO a golf course is only the abuse of a perfect rifle range!

I suspect both could absorb as much money as you're prepared to throw at them.
If I want to wander around a field I know I'll be holding a gun, not a metal stick. You get all sweaty clubbing things to death, much easier to use the gun, otherwise what's the point of evolution ? |

There may actually be some commonality here. Jeff Cooper, who some feel is just ever so slightly biased in favour of the 45, always gave the opinion that a 9 mm was for knocking a golf ball around the course.

RK,
The club I belong now charges an initiation fee of $ 28K and $ 4-6K each year for fees and assessments. This "green" can buy a lot more lugers each year. Thinking its time to sell my membership...(seriously...) Regards, Pete... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" /> |
