IIRC, Val Forgett purchased the rights to do these from Stoeger and after doing so, figgered out that the Stoeger ones were performance dogs and didn't sell well.

Never much cared for them but it almost looks decent with that longer barrel.

Interesting instruction booklet. The luger shown on the front cover is a mirror image (right side of gun shown as left side) however the "Luger" logo on the gun isn't reversed. I wonder if anyone in their graphics department was chastised for that goof!
