Thanks to all the members for their advice on buying from Randy Bessler. I picked up the G from, and it was better than I expected!
SN 416X b, all matching, no mag, well worn but I could never afford a really decent G date. This will make a nice shooter....no pics...no dig camera yet!! One question... what is the difference between corrosion/rust and frosting. The bore is somewhat frosted. Will affect accuracy?? Randy was very decent and friendly, and I WILL do business with him again. BB

Congratulations on your purchase. Frosting should not affect accuracy much. If you care to do it I have fire lapped a few of my guns with much success.

I have read a little about fire lapping. Sounds like a reasonable approach. Why just not try shooting it a while? See how you like it...
