Default How to I did change the recoil spring (flat spring) on a 1900 Luger?

I have a totally mis-matched 1900 Luger I use as a shooter. Finochi ammo works well in it, but any other ammo has numerous failures of the toggle not completely closing. The toggle closes the rest of the way with no effort, so I suspect the flat spring is weak after 120 years. I have a new flat spring, what are the steps getting the old spring out and the new spring in?
