Why would one of these have a sear safety And a magazine safety but no other unique markings...Just the normal military proofs.
I presume if it was a police reissue it would have some kind of unit markings. Again, thanks in advance ....Scott |

Likely outfitted and re-issued to police somewhere. Unit markings seem not to have been such a big deal post WWI.

All police lugers were not unit marked.
Some have had any markings removed, but you can usually tell if this was done; look on the inside of the front strap for reverse impressions of the markings.
