Default Lugers and College football

I don’t know about all of you ladies(?) and gentlemen, but I can tell you that I am as close to nirvana as I’ll ever be on the first weekend of fall months when I get to both watch copious amounts of college football and clean/maintain (which eventually turns into fondling and admiring) my Lugers. Go Bucks and have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend everyone!

I would say that college football is much more entertaining than the NFL games, which this season are to be known as "The Kneeling Starts Season". 8-)

since I played football from 8-18, football holds a co-equal status to my Lugers as a number 1 hobby.

I did too; and there is still time for you to grow out of it- like I have.
I'm now older, wiser, and "bigger".

I have to confess that I'm with HerrKaiser on this. Watching football while cleaning, function testing, or experimenting with part swaps and similar with Lugers is to me very enjoyable. In fact I find this thread reassuring, as I have been accused of "acting strangely", being "weird" and similar offenses due to my mingling of Lugers and football.

Until college football takes a turn towards the NFL style of doing things, unlikely. I’ve been an avid fan of college football since before I even held my first gun. I can still remember watching Ohio State stun Miami in 2002 with my dad.

Careful when pointing the Luger at the TV. I have a friend who accidentally once shot Flipper with a .22 rifle...

It’s my .30 which I have no ammo for. I triple checked it was unloaded before the picture. As for the sideways view, I uploaded the picture from my my phone and have no idea why it uploads sideways like that.
