I actually like that its crossed out and not ground down.
always be questions on it. BUT, too late for weimar, its Nazi and if done by easter germany, I think ground or more likely new base? |

Here is another image - This P08 with 2 mags and holster is a Canadian WWII vet bring-back. All numbers are matching with the exception of the mags (interesting for me is the number correction on the mag).
