Default Questions on Luger manuals

What is the value of English printed manuals?
Is there a way to judge approx manufacture?

The Norwegian are 1946 and 1953

the Red I know are 1963 and 1966 Stoeger, so mainly for fun

When were the lighter color ones made?

Ed,
The light colored English text manuals are pre-WWI, probably 1906 or thereabouts. I have one. Are these yours? A couple appear in a bit better condition than mine and I would consider upgrading if they become available for sale.
Ron

Ron,

Was an English manual printed that might have accompanied a 1900 Commercial s.n. 3402?

Yes. Oddly enough, the first Luger manual was in English. It was printed in 1900 and still referred to the "Borchardt-Luger's System". It most likely was the manual provided with the U.S. Test Trials Lugers. I know of only a small handful in collections, Charles Whittaker has two, there was one in the Sturgess collection and I have one, there are probably a few more but not many...it is one of the rarest Luger documents.
