Ok not sure if this is a deal or not.
Outdoorlimited has this .30 ammo $600 for 2000 rounds

Lapua 30 Luger Ammunition 7.65 Parabellum Full Metal Jacket CRATE 2,000 rounds

The first question that I would have is will your Luger function 100% on Lapua ammo? If you don't know, then that is a big gamble.....or so it seems to me. Is this ammo Berdan, or Boxer primed?? Is it brass cased, or steel cased??

Folks who have used the Lapua ammo before have found it to be excellent shooting ammo.
This price is not that great though.

25% off the current "usual" isn't that bad, though! Shipping seems comparatively low, as well--2 bars on ammoseek.com. At this price, particularly if it does turn out to be Berdan primed, I'd use it for IDPA matches where most of my brass is lost. IIRC, Samco's mil surp .30 Luger cost similar...at least until they went out of business. Not as cheap as 9mm, but then what else is?
