Yup. It's in the title of the article I linked.

There are lots of web sites on the tunnel rats. I couldn't find a pic of the actual tattoo, just the informal patch.

In Canton, I saw rats of rabbit size. Very bold too, not fear human very much. In my impression, big rat was a feature animal in humid and hot environment. There was report of prisoners' ear and nose bite off by rats in dirty jails.
