Matching S/N 15965 (1918), First year of Swiss production, 90% cond. excellent bore. No P release, no import marks. Someone on this Forum (can't remember who
) stated "If it's made after 1918...it's a reproduction" I assume this one is genuine

Beautiful gun...looks genuine to me! I have #15640, probably made within days of yours. I will take the blame for the "1918" remark!

Holster is dated 42 and is military marked. Came with the pistol.

There is something quite fine about the way the Swiss made Lugers. And don't forget, the Germans were doing their best to impress the Swiss before the war forced production to move to Bern.
