Here is a curiosity.
A Swedish L-40 "Lahti" pistol with a long barrel. Any opinions? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=476539647 |

Interesting. (Not one of mine, BTW).
![]() Front sight looks authentic. Hex barrel flange is consistent with some of the 100mm barrels. Not sure if I'd pay $3,100 for it. Needs a better story. ![]()

It would make an interesting shooter for sure. Lahti's have got to be the biggest and heaviest single stack 9mm on the market, now add to that a long sight radius...

David, what what one expect to pay for a strictly shooter grade Lahti?

Note the sight bolster on the barrel. The edges are soft, as are the corners of the dove-tail, and exhibit no high edge wear, or machine marks.
The rest of the pistol has very crisp sharp edges, with high edge wear and shows machine marks. IMO, it's a machinist created after market barrel, which was buffed and blued. A made up pistol, and not original. I would consider it a $400 shooter...
