Its a bogus piece of junk

On Jan's board, I wrote some comments about this gun..

Quote:
nazi markings - simson was gone when?
eagles look like they were drawn - if those are the stamps, then jeez...
look at the eagle N on the left side, is that a post war eagle N ?
No eagle 6's on the stock lug...

no eagle 6's on everywhere you would expect.

it could very well be a Simson rework, but then it would have to have been reworked a couple of more times.

I know the seller and he is as honest as the day is long. He clearly states that both finish and markings have been redone.

then tell him that the markings are clearly fake George and he should state that?

I am getting emails from folks asking me why this is going for so much if it is no good?

Gentlemen,
If I may, that toggle sure looks like it was ground down...

I'm curious about the "mg10 Eagle and swastika" markings, as well. I've seen this marking on another luger (one that Simpson was selling recently), looked spurious to me...

I don't know anything about this Luger or any other Luger, but the current bid is at $3,007.00.
Go figure !?!?!?!?!?
