Check out this site for detailed info on use of various oils/preservatives?....as a result, I now use BREAKFREE CLP only!

I have tried various gun oils etc..Bring my guns to sea often to shoot them and store them only a few hundred yards from the water...I have used Breakfree CLP for the past few years and it seems to do the job..it works for me!

That was a good test that guy did, plus it was interesting and reasonably scientific. I have used Break Free for years, but ran out and haven't gotten any more.
Will get either CLP or that Eezpx! thanks! Ed |

I've heard a lot of good things about Ballistol, but I have been a CLP user for some time.
