Can anyone guide me to a page in the old Gortz & sturgess volumes on where the picture can be found of a carbine satchel, gun with cases on the gun and stock; sort of like a protective sleeve-like case; for an added bit of protection when transporting

Jerry Burney, (Lugerholsterrepair) can make you an almost exact replica of the early two sleeve cases.

Close but not quite there yet. What I was referring to is protective sleeves to encase the items in before placing in a satchel carrier. They are also useful when handling and toting while out of the carrier. And then my next step will be the satchel itself.
