Actyually Eric, I think that the large majority of the Navy's were unit marked. (unless of course they were a commercial Navy model). Exactly how many, I do not know.

I have a beautiful 1908 rig that is not marked. Since a picked up the 1917 unit marked DWM I'm spoiled!

Eric, the majority of 1906 models are unit marked. Very few of the '08s, 16s and 17s are unit marked.
