I am purchasing a 1941 byf "o" series with walnut grips. Is it considered a black widow? I think it is so described in a book on values, etc. by A. Davis. It's stated as being 98 % what might it be worth?
Pictures to come. Many thanks Jack |

Jack, I think this is too broad of a question with too little information to give a value.
You can look on gunbroker or some of the on-line dealers and check their prices. Did you read the FAQ on 'black widows'? I don't believe this is a variation, but was simply a marketing ploy... Because all that is different in this and one with walnut grips is the plastic grips. I moved your posting to a separate posting and thread, as it is better to have a separate one than piggyback onto a 2 year old thread (the emails come to you and the thread is yours )Ed
