Default Poll of Where members live

I will be very general and yet try to hit the many geographical locations.

No personal information is stored, you can cast a 'vote' once and then see the graph.

No, no, no. You don't understand.

Anywhere in the world, if you ask a Texan where he is from, they won't say America or the US. We always say "Texas".

Texas was a sovereign nation before it became a state.

A poll by state would be interesting too.

Bob, I thought about that, you can add 20 poll items at a time, I am unsure if you can add another 30?

Remind me in a couple of weeks or you start a poll in a couple of weeks?

Hi Ed,
Par usual, I am confused. You mentioned 20 at a time and that 30 might be too much. I understand the 20 listed, however if I understand present management knowledge base, it would be an additional 57 vs.30. Best to you and check six.

Bob asked me if we could do one for the states. (Thus why I quoted him ) So, I am able to do a poll for 20 items; 50-20 = 30

Now, if we count the territories, its 5 or 6?

but basic answer is 50 states.

I tried to include, and put Slovakia under eastern europe (no offense), because I have never been there, I get confused.

Amazing that the poll has been seen 255 times and only xx responses..... Of course I think it counts each visit as a new visit.

If I interpret the poll results correctly, it seems that our European forum has been overrun by American members

Well in addition to what George said, there is another view point. If it were not for the boys from Tennnessee, Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina, those in Texas would be speaking Spanish and reporting to Mexico City. Advance notice - we are not going to save you a second time.

Hi Charlie,
If the economy continues to spiral downwards, the tables might get turned...Texas might be doing the "saving".
Best Regards, Don

Charlie,
Do I detect a note of jealousy here? Is there a reason that you don't include your state in your profile? I don't want to get into a back and forth banter here. Texas has a rich and colorful history and I proud to be a Texan and believe we are all Blessed to have been born in this great nation. God Bless America!
All the best, Don

No jealousy. What does Texas have that I would want. I am glad though that you are proud to be a Texan.

As to my state I do have it listed on Jan's site and others. For whatever reason I never thought of it here one way or the other. The state was never important to me as I am an American.

(Spoken with a tongue in cheek!)

An old army buddy from Alaska once told me that a "Texan" is just a Mexican who didn't make it as far as Oklahoma, but I don't know how much truth there is in that...

God Bless the USA!

.
I will delete this thread if it goes down the tubes, it may seem playful, but it can quickly turn the other way

I thought folks wanted to see where in the World people lived, not where in the USA we all lived?
