Met another forum member today!!

Hi to all, It never ceases to amaze me as to how our forum continues to produce excellent members, who, when you meet them, become fast friends almost immeadiatly...Today was like that, I met a fellow AZ member, calibrator, for a few hours today, and it was great fun! We swapped some tall tales and I purchased some ammo from him, (main excuse to travel!) and left him with a mag part or two so he has something to play with! ...

...After being shown some of his work, I could see right away, he was an artist of considerable skill & talent! My kinda guy... Really was a fun morning.. I hope he can find his way down here.. Maybe me and Frank can hook up with him for lunch or a local Gun show around here... kinda falls in line with what was posted about Hugh and other members, ... with a little effort, more excuses to bump into one another can be produced... Top notch people in this bunch!

Best to all, til...lat'r...GT BTW, Ferley, Mike and Tom, I'm pretty much working on your stuff every day till I get them done... and, Patric, John & David, I'm trying to get some HD springs made so we can do it right as we discussed!! Thanks guys, for your patience.....

What? No Photos of your meet with calibrator? Shame on you both GT...

I'll bet both of you have a camera on your cell phones too!

Sorry John, you would lose your bet as I've never had a cell phone (just MAY be another way I keep my stress level low??). When G.T.'s phone rang while leaving it had the "classic" bell ringing sound. That impressed me as I ALWAYS thought that IF I were to ever get a cell phone that was the ring tone I would use (just another thing we had in common). My feelings about our meeting at my home are mutual, G.T. has passion about what he does and I admire that in people I meet. ALL of my good friends are "Gun People"(I can't think of a single "Hoplophobic" in my social circle!). I too have met good people (who live near by) through this forum who will take you into their home and share their Luger passion. This is a great forum, made greater by it's members.
