Help ID Alphabet Commercial year of mfg.

I inherited this piece with serial number 6886o (all matching). How can I determine the year of mfg and ballpark value?

One more question, I'm assuming this is .30, right?

Your DWM Alphabet Commercial was made late 1925 or early 1926.
You're correct, it is a 30 cal. I wouldn't hesitate paying $1200 for one like yours... it's near mint. A year 1/2 ago, it was worth closer to $1500-$1600.
Very nice, well preserved Luger.
