I'm curious to see if the luger i have would be considered a shooter or collector. I dont plan of ever shooting a round out of it, though i wouldn't mind selling it. All matching parts besides the magazine.

Tough question because one man's shooter is another's collector. So it depends on who you ask.
I can't tell much about the gun from these pictures but assuming that it is not particularly rare it could go either way. I'd probably shoot it, but if you have a lot tied up in it you might not want to risk it. How about this, if you can get over $1000 it is a collector, if less it's a shooter. I know, that's all BS but that's the best I can do. DJU |

I'd call it a low level collector. It'll never bring big bucks, but it's matching and has a decent finish. I wouldn't shoot the daylights out of it, or it WILL just be a shooter, but don't be afraid to have a little fun with it. Replace the risky parts known to break for those range trips if you're really worried.

Its an army DWM, and I can't make out the date, so whatever the date is; is the date it was made.
$700-$900 in todays market, gunshows would ask more, unsure if they'd get more. I have had two really nice ones sell for around $1100-$1300 in the last 6 months. but condition is everything.... Ed
