Default Winter in AZ

Global warming, My Donkey! See what you're missing, Jerry? Tell me again about winter in Arizona....

Someone talk Lugers at me. I'm bored! And all achy from shoveling...

Priorities! Don't need the deck to survive. LOL Only a path there so the dogs can get out to poop. That's 6X2 redwood and has had a lot more weight than you see here.

Despite the fact you had to shovel, you must admit it is a beautiful scene, don't you think?!

ROTF, vlim! Don't you recognize Mr. Winter? Back into the upper 40's today. No tree loses. All is melting nicely. And I don't have to swat 'skeeters either.

We'll have snow here soon enough, but I miss the swift snow storms from when we lived in Colorado and also Helena, Montana

Wait just a minute here. Those trees in the background,,,,,, you live on the Rim. At that elevation you get what you ask for. It's not like your in the valley.

I camped for a week in Febuary, in the valley next to Pheonix at a place call Estrella Mountain park. Let me tell you, it was cold enouph at night to freeze the blue stuff in the portalets.

What FNorm also fails to mention is in the summer; the incredible beauty of living up on the Rim. You just pay for it in the winter. Roads get real scary and shoulders in some places don't exist.

What? No hot tub on your redwood deck?

Rim? Oh, as in the Canyon? Nope, the Front Range. The banana belt of the Rockies. You're right though, up here at 8,000 ft. you get what you ask for. Clean air, pure well water. Nice neighbors not too close....

Estrella... Use to fly gliders there.

But this is usually our looong indian summer weather. We don't expect snows like this til April.

Camo Luger. I like it. How much?

There was a Hot Tub until three weeks ago. It cracked after 12 years. I decided that rather than get a new one, I'd buy some lugers instead...

Fred, Very nice..It's why I drive a thousand miles South for the Winter! I am watching the palm trees sway in the breeze and 75-80 degrees. Pretty sweet if I do say so... and I say so!

Vlim, pretty good artistry there on the chair man!

Put another log on the fire..see you back there in the Spring...

Any moisture is a gift in AZ. Enjoy, it will go away quickly.
