Hi,
I've got a question about this proof marks: http://www.lugerforum.com/owner_gallery/Dok/StampsLeft.jpg The mark left of the crown, is it an eagle? Is it imperial or East German? Thanks! |

My understanding is that it's East German and is part of the inspection stamp done during the rework. I too would welcome any opinions.

What exactly does the 1976 indicate? Is that somehow tied to that stamp?

Hi,
are you really sure this is the date? I would say it is the serial of the pistole because the "79" is on the other gun parts too. And the eagle is really DDR? Not imperial army? JF |
