I have a 2/1001 mag that looks great, but is very difficult to load. Even the first round doesn't go in easily and requires moderate force down on the button. By the sixth round, I am unable to push the button down hard enough (by hand) to load any more. Nothing looks bent, no dents, and it's very clean. It feeds all loaded rounds and actuates the hold open.
What is the likely cause of the difficulty and what can I do about it? I'd also like to buy a mag appropriate to a 1939 40. Many Thanks, Matt |

Hi Matt, it's more than likely a bad or out of spec follower... I can fix it for you for $25.00 including return postage.. I use original parts, and I'll make sure it is correct... best to you, til...lat'r...GT
