Don't know if it is true, but I have heard that Gale has such a backlog of work he hasn't been accepting new restoration jobs for some time now.

He is the best. He restored a 1902 carbine for me. Not cheap, but the best never is.

I talked with him last August and he was not taking on guns at that point.
