Default 41/42 luger and navy luger

I used search, but nothing came up so I apologize if this has been asked before. I have been told that the 41/42 marked lugers were fairly rare ( or unique) as not too many were made before being switched to the byf code. Is that true and about how many is it estimated were made. I have a really nice one and was curious about it. Also, I have a 1937 navy luger with an N number mark. I was told that the Nazi KM only procured about 200. Is that pretty close? Thanks in advance for any help you give on these questions.
