I have this police luger, it is P.S.393 (Police School Sensberg) and has this interesting symbol under the serial number. Mine does not have a sear or magazine safety.
I am looking for others with this same marking; and what it is. 1. Is it a strictly police marking? 2. Is it a police school marking? 3. Does yours have a sear or magazine safety? 4. Any Army pistols marked with this?

I have seen this crown style marking on a couple of 1923 Commercial Lugers for sale in the PHX area and if I remember correctly this marking was previously discussed on the Forum.
