Please interpret suffix

After all these years I should recognize this suffix, but I don't know what it is. The pistol is a beautiful 1915 DWM. What's the suffix?

I have trouble with these too; my first impression is a 't" but I am sure that Ron is correct, as the "t" does not have the loop at the top.
