I have a Imperial holster with these markings J.L.S. and no other numbers to go with it. Is this a Unit mark?
Thanks |

Where on the holster is the marking? Is it inked or embossed?

It's on the back side of the flap. The marking are the result of using a metal stamp. And the embosses is probably incorrect. If this mark is a unit mark. I think it is a Jager Landwehr/Landstrum Stosstupp. Which is cool if correct. I will post pictures later this week.

Here is a picture of the mark in question. A Walther Md4 fits perfectly in the holster. But a Walther PP which is a bit larger does not. You can get the PP in the holster but you cant close the flap strap.

Beautiful holster. I don't believe the marking to be a unit marking. Perhaps it has a connection to the manufacturer or retailer.
