I was looking at this DWM 1917 and noticed on the back strap not the front strap these markings, 925. 1. 35. What do these stand for? Thanks, Curt

I can't tell you what the actual numbers mean, but the stamp is a Unit Marking identifying this pistol as part of that unit. Someone who specializes in the Unit Marks will likely give you the answer you are looking for.

Curt,
Hard to say. I don't think it's a military unit mark. It doesn't fall into any unit mark catagory that I know of. Ron
