broken luger
ive got a 1939 s/42 nothing special, its badly pitted, forced matched, and blued. its a post war police pistol to sum it up.
its always shot well but recently its been hard to ****, its been in storage for several months and now it wont **** at all. i got it out the otherday and it will only open up 1/4 a inch. help lol |

douh i fixed it, the safety was on
guess i should stick with my 1911s lol |

You took the right procedure in the sense that you decocked your luger and stored it with the safety on. But if you apply too much force while pulling back on the toggles with the safety is on (while uncocked) that could potentially bend or break something, I don't know. Can't be good though, when I got my first Luger I did the same thing.... other than making a thread about it |
