Default First Luger { Pictures}

I finally bought my first Luger and was partial to this one as the date and finish is exact to my 1918 Colt. Both built at same time and both probably fought WWI and WWII. To me there is nothing more than the ones no one wants and show there real age from use and are still serviceable
This one was found in a house raid in Afghanistan and has the dust to prove it. Barrel is surprisingly nice and all numbers match but did not have a magazine with it. I am looking for a proper magazine at this time so holler if anyone has a beat one to match for sale.

The Grips are marked with one having a small 8 and a faint W on it and the other looks to have a U but is on a dirt line so it is hard to make out. Rick B

Richard, welcome to the forum. You luger is well worn and used. I love it next to the 1911

Hard to beat the history you have sitting in front of you. You also realize that the 1911 was made prior to 1918 and after the war, so you might have to expand your collection and thinking

That's a nice pair. I have a 1911 made in 1918 and would like to have a 1918-dated P.08 to go with it.

Hello,

Thanks for posting your luger and 1911. The luger is very beautiful and is in original as found condition. This condition pistol appeals to me since I feel like it hasn't been fooled with. Nice and honest with apparently a lot of history.

Best Regards,
