Default Interesting Little Story...

I read a little story about a lady that called a police chief of a small town on the west side of Ft. Worth, Texas. She wanted him to come pick up her deceased husbands deer rifle. When he arrived, he found a fully functional MG15. Fortunately he didn't have it destroyed. He turned it over to a musuem. I wonder how often this happens and we never hear about it???

I have heard a story like it. One of the forum members several years ago (I actually forget whom), said he went to a ladies house and she pulled out a nambu (or luger, I forget which) and she said the same thing, oh, I have a rifle my husband brought back from the war. It was a BAR (browning automatic rifle).... he bought the pistol and hurridly left, telling her to turn the rifle over to the police...

My gut feeling is that this happened frequently the last 10 years and will for another 20 as folks decide to finally get rid of pops things....
