Default WTK 1940 "42" value

Could anyone value a 1940 dated "42" toggle marked P08?

Thefinnish is about 75% and it is all matching except the magazine waffenamps are #655.

Is this a 1934 Mauser made in 1940, and what was the production #'s on these? Thanks TIM

Default Re: WTK 1940 "42" value

Production of the 1940 42 code was approx. 136,000.They ran from about the late z block to about the late n block. I have one in the early f block. 1940 saw the change of issue type magazines from type 2 to type 3.

With out seeing the Luger, value for an all matched specimen with proper mismatched mag. in about 75% condition would probably be in the $650 to $750 range but prices have been somewhat unstable lately from what I've been seeing.
